Stop Windows from autodisconnecting network shares
By default Windows autodisconnects network shares after 15 minutes.
1. Start Registry Editor
2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters\autodisconnect
3. On the Edit menu, click Modify, and then click Hexadecimal.
4. In the Value Data box, (default value of "f"), enter seven more "f"s, for a total of eight "f"s. "ffffffff"
5. Quit Registry Editor.
6. Reboot system.
